Privacy Policy for Clock Widget Studio

About this policy

Clock Widget Studio is provided by Aktyva konsaltynh technologies. This policy describes how the app handles information when you create, save, and place analog and digital clock widgets.

Information accessed and stored

The app reads your device’s current time, date, and time zone to display clocks and previews. It does not request location permission or use geographic location to determine the time zone.

The app stores your saved clock designs, design names, current editor draft, and settings for each placed widget in local Android app storage. Settings include clock type, size preference, time and date formats, typography, text size, alignment, and background. Locally generated design identifiers and Android widget identifiers help distinguish saved designs and widget instances; they are not used for tracking.

The current app does not require an account or implement collection of personal information for transmission to the developer. It does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location. Information you choose to type into a design name is stored as part of that design.

How information is used

Local information is used to display the correct time and date, preview your customizations, restore your editor draft, maintain your saved collection, and configure individual home screen widgets. Each placed widget has independent settings.

The app receives Android time, time-zone, date-change, and device-start events to refresh widgets. Android also schedules periodic widget updates, which the system may delay.

Sharing and third-party software

The current app does not implement advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting services, or transmission of your designs to developer-operated servers. No advertising or analytics SDKs were identified in the inspected application dependencies. The app uses Android, AndroidX, Jetpack Compose/Compose Multiplatform, and Kotlin libraries to provide its interface and local functionality.

Android’s widget system and your home screen launcher receive the widget content and configuration information needed to place and display your clocks. This processing supports the widget features you request.

Android backup and device transfer

The app enables Android’s backup capability. Depending on your device, Android version, backup provider, and settings, local app data may be included in system backups or transferred to another device. Those processes are controlled by Android and your backup provider. The developer does not operate that backup service or receive its contents through the app.

Network access

The Android app declares the Internet permission. However, the current clock, editor, saving, and widget workflows do not implement network requests or uploads. No app-managed transfer requiring encryption in transit was identified. This policy does not make assurances about encryption used by separate Android backup or email services.

Storage and security

Android stores designs, drafts, and widget settings in the app’s private preferences storage. The app relies on Android’s app storage protections and does not implement an additional layer of encryption for those preferences. No storage or security method can guarantee complete protection.

Retention and deletion

Saved designs remain in local storage until you delete or replace them or clear the app’s data. The current editor draft is saved automatically and replaced as you edit. Widget-specific settings remain until changed or until Android notifies the app that the widget has been removed. There is no automatic expiration period.

You can delete a saved preset from the Saved screen. Deleting a preset does not delete the editor draft or change independently configured widgets. Removing a home screen widget deletes its instance settings when Android delivers the removal event, while saved presets remain available.

To remove all locally stored app settings, designs, and drafts, use Android’s Clear storage or Clear data option for Clock Widget Studio. Uninstalling also normally removes the app’s local data. Backups are managed separately through your device or backup provider, and restored backups may restore previously saved information.

For privacy questions or deletion assistance, contact mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The app does not provide an account or a server-side deletion feature, and the developer cannot remotely erase information stored only on your device or in your system backups.

Browser preview

If you use the browser preview, saved designs are stored in that browser’s local storage. The preview reads the browser’s local time and date; its editor draft is held in memory. Delete saved designs through the preview or clear the preview site’s browser storage to remove them. Android home screen placement is unavailable in the browser preview. The inspected preview code does not implement analytics or uploads of saved designs; separate hosting-service data practices were not established by the available application source.

Children’s privacy

The app does not ask for age or date of birth and has no account, advertising, or analytics collection features. Its target age groups have not been established in the supplied information. The local processing and deletion controls described in this policy apply to all users. A parent or guardian may contact the privacy address with questions.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or its information-handling practices. Review the policy accompanying the version you use for the applicable practices.
